Network members, Nima Dervish and Ahmad Mansour held discussions about radicalization with over 350 teens during a tour of five schools in Stockholm, Malmo and Gothenburg in March 2012. The lectures included presentations and videos, but Nima and Ahmad focused on group discussion on radicalization and religious extremism. They had in-depth and passionate discussions with students about the meaning of democratic values, such as freedom of religion and individual rights.
"Never Forget Pela and Fadime" led a series of events to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the murder of Fadime, who was killed by her father for having a Swedish boyfriend. The events included a conference on forced marriages, a theatrical performance and a memorial at her tombstone. Network members, Jasvinder Sanghera and Ahmad Mansour were featured speakers, and Nadir Ouilain filmed the event.
On 20th and 21st January 2011, the Stockholm-based "Glöm Aldrig Pela och Fadime" ("Never forget Pela and Fadime"), that provides advice and support to men and women threatened by honor violence and run by Sara Mohammad, organised a series of activities and events in a number of cities to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the “honor” murder of Fadime Sahindal.
